C6 question

C6 question
I have 2 transmissions in the house that I plan to rebuild for my 88 F150 302 C6.
All are C6s.
One of the transmissions is a broken casing 83 bronco 4x4 transmission.
The other one is a 68ish fseris 2wd transmission with a good casing.
I know I need to take the 4x4 shaft out of the bronco trans but with the 2wd transmission being a 60s can I put the drums an such from the bronco trans in the 2wd trans case?
Just curious as I am reading the later (like my current one) has better plates and valve body then the 60s transmission. I will be buying a rebuild kit but need to know which one to get the 67-e76 or L76-96.
