I just installed a y block 239 in my wifes 1954 f100 pickup and I cant figure out how to connect the gas peddle linkage to the 2 barrel carb. It had a straight six in it before the swap and the carb linklage was on the Left side. The 239 is on the right. I have looked everywhere for photos and parts to connect the gas peddle linkage with little success. Does anyone know the part number, picture or have a diagram? I think the linkage must go on the left sid, but how do you connect it?
Thats my problem. I cant seem to zero in to what part I need. When I go to someplace like ebay, they all look different. There is a part on the left side of the carb that moves the throttle, but I dont know haw to connect it to the existing gas peddle linkage
