Folks,
Anybody seen a '57 4 bbl throttle setup with the pull arm on the right side (holley teapot I believe).
If so, do you have a picture or diagram of what this looks like. I may have a need for this.
I could have sworn that I have seen an f100 like this long ago far away.
Thanks,
Brett
You are talking about a 8cyl? I have not seen a set up for the tea pot. But the 2bbl carb had the linkage on the rh side. It had the shaft that came through the bell crank and then throu a bracket that had 2 bolts to the fire wall. The bell crank for a 6cyl truck is better for a aftermarket carb. I know this doesn't help much.
OK. That explains why I remember seeing this. I'm looking into all the parts necessary to swap a 300 in place of my 223. Of course Ford swapped the throttle to the opposite side....
Thanks again,
Brett
223 inline six has carb and intake on drivers side of head. 300 inline six has carb and intake on passengers side of head. If I remember what the pull arm off the V8 looks like, I think it would line up better with the offy intake and the Holley 4 bbl mounted inline on top of the 300 I have.
Thanks,
Brett
