My air chisel with a point punched them right out. I almost feel bad they really came off with not much issue. I know some people have really battled them.
My best deal found was a 2pack of kits with bolts and all for like 60$ to my door on eBay.
Those parts just seem way thinner to me than they should be don't they? Top that off with the fact that they're designed in such a way that they hold so much dirt and silt the rust is inevitable if you live anywhere where they use salt. Just seems like a bad design, I agree.
