Eeek, did you have to remove the trailer fenders when it squatted? Eeeeekkk....
Yeah, something about a visor on a truck with factory clearance lights. And I'd lose the running board / flare thingies. They'd look... acceptable if it were full-length on an SRW truck. But not on a dually; it looks half....baked. I wouldn't repaint it, but I'm partial to two-tones.
Wife despises the visor-color -duallie factors. I may leave it just to be a pain lol
I always hated the visor as well.
Maybe it will grow on me lol
I always hated the visor as well and when I bought my truck I thought that would be the first thing I removed. Yeeeaaaah, it grew on me... Although, it would be nice if it was the style with the light incorporated.
The fiberglass pieces have steps as well moulded in so that would be handy for getting stuff out of the bed.
No big turbos etc.
Just exh, intake, bellowed up pipes, deleted turbo parts, left over chip , maybe a dirt cheap efuel and DIY ic setup.
I'm not painting anything I don't have to. Only desperate repairs will get done.
The ol gal was a michigan truck originally. The cab underside and bed underside are good enough. Front fenders, core support,frame... All will need serious attention/replacement. I have a set of fenders I need to take delivery of . Also a much nicer frame has been located. Lots of detailing an some attention to sealing the underside up for winter duty will be paramount.
haha, question on the visor. Are they known to leak and cause problems?
If you do them right no. If you lag screw them into the roof yes. Had mine for 5 years now with grommeted nut certs. Looks the same as the day we fut it in.
