I have to say that I would like the "perimeter only" option to be available as a default. Have had the pooch in there a couple times, and the alarm goes off. Didn't realize the setting didn't stay on as a default. Thought I was loosing my marbles. Guess I'll set it to prompt me every time. Might be a major pain, time will tell.
All sensors allows you to leave your windows open without getting robbed.
You can go into setting and there will be an option to have the truck ask you if you want all sensors or just exterior sensors. It will then be controlled with the up down on the left side of the steering wheel and push OK to set. I had the same problems in my Lariat and dogs. I found it by reading the manual.

I almost forgot, when yo pop the door you have a limited number of seconds to decide, otherwise it will time out and you will have to recycle the assoriries (turn on with out starting or restart), then off again to get the choice again.
I unplugged the interior sensor wire in overhead console
I've seen lots of posts in many forums on this topic. I was all set to glue covers over the interior sensors, as I didn't want to rely on myself changing to Perimeter only when leaving the truck every time. Then I thought there must be wires to the sensors in the overhead console. So I pulled it off (very easy with a trim tool) and found wires plugged into a control unit that had wires going to all four sensors. I simply unplugged it from the control unit. I then tried it out by activating the ignition, turning it off, leaving the setting to the all default, and then locking with the remote (I'm still inside the truck). After 20 seconds, I waved my arms around for a while and the alarm never went off. I also did this before unplugging the wire and the alarm did go off. So this seems to work just fine, as long as it doesn't show up in a scan the next time I'm in the dealer and they reconnect it for me (please stop helping me).
We often take a ferry with our car and it seems the only way I can turn off all sensors is to keep my car unlocked. Is there any other way to turn off all motion sensors ?

Have you tried opening each door and manually locking each door?
