Brother, after all the work you did it's a crap shoot. I probably would have done the same thing. Now you have a spare IPR.

Sorry Benny, I misread that you were actually stating that 40% was spec not confirming a leak at 40%.
Thanks for REPEATING yourself! lol

Dummy Plug
Could this cause a lot of air to bypass in a sit test and be the cause of my no hot start problems. O ring is still good.

I don't see where that would cause a leak personally...

Then it's going to be injectors, the air was coming from around this spot. So I guess injector #3

Can you shine a light in each injector and have a good look? BTW, you probably just healed up from doing all the that work... Now this. I feel for ya!

Uh oh I'm starting to sound like 98. I'm not listening. What am I looking for if I shine the light on the injectors. A slight mist?

At this point I would recommend pulling the oil rail and inspect the top injector orings. Also see if the nipple cups are sloppy....

Ok, had injectors replaced 55,000 mi ago by a reputable shop. ( engines they know, rear ends they dont) Will take oil rails off tomorrow and look at nipple cups. Will post pictures because really don't know what I'm looking for other than signs of wear.

That is exactly what you are looking for, the o-ring will be eroded away in an area...

Thanks Archy, I bought one a couple days ago and now I have a spare to help somebody out. That wasn't my problem even thou I thought it was. Then I thought it was stand pipe or dummy plug. Nope ;-) I'm getting there.
Thanks Shaneb , will post pictures.

I'm going to start a new Thread on this since it changed from IPR (which I replaced and that wasn't the problem) to nipple cups and injector seals
