The fact that is starts low psi and slowly builds to a crescendo, then just enough to get over the hump confirms.
Even on the early builds with the less than stellar pump, a few revs is all it should take to start building 500 lbs straight away.

Odds are in your favor it's NOT the pump.

You might have "nicked" a o ring on a standpipe or dummy plug, maybe do an air test to find out the real deal. I'd check the easy stuff first like the IPR and the ICP to make sure they are all right first.

Just put in new IPR last night. Fired up ok, drove home and would not fire up. You've got my hopes up that it is not the pump. Looking at how to do an air test on the standpipes and dummy plugs. Any suggestions?

The wrong combo cap filter lets the oil filter house drain
same as when you pull the filter for an oil change therefore the LPOP cant keep up

Oh ok. She will fire up fine 1st thing in the morning and run all day as long as I don't cut her off, but when she heats up just a little she won't fire
