Make sure they are OEM. Just because they "came off of" as the ad claims, doesn't mean they are factory.

Really? That seems pretty nice It is pretty "busy" for my taste personally and I'm sure that's your issue too.

Anyone in the greater Seattle area looking for a roof rack?

If I had not already allocated all my funds to other Ex projects, I would be tempted.

Per their ad:
"The motor does have a hole in the block."

A $200 savings on something that rusted compared to brand new seems a little steep. I'd doubt you could have it blasted and then paint it yourself for less then $200, and to do it right you would most likely disassemble the whole thing and end up replacing the bolts with new.

Oh, I would not have paid what he is asking, but I may have put in an offer

I was very interested when you posted it, but it's a little rich for my blood and Buckley is a ways south from me. I'm up north of Everett. I am working on the roof rack situation, figured I could get it taken care of fairly inexpensively. So far I have some Explorer brackets and cross bars, have to get someone to weld them; and I have a Thule box that I purchased for $100 off of a local Facebook selling site. I would like a basket though.
