The back of my 1996 Ford F350 Crew Cab/Long Bed is starting to sag. I bought one of the little syringe repair kits to try to fix it, but I'm looking up possibilities in replacing the entire unit, and I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas in doing this. I know I'm probably gonna have to remove the back glass to get the headliner in and out, but I'd rather not if at all possible...
One idea I had heard about was to remove it and bedline it, but I've researched that it would make things a lot louder and greatly affect the internal temperature of the cab. If this isn't a good idea, what else could I possibly do?
I've decided I'm just gonna build my own. I'm gonna fashion together a bracket to make a 2-piece headliner board so I can put it in through the doors. What would a good headliner board material be made of? I've got the headliner foam and fabric, I'm using a black vinyl instead of a fabric, but I don't know if I should just cut my current headliner board in half or make a new one.

Remove the front seat and it'll fit out the rear door opening with some very careful bending.
Just go to an interior shop and get the material. Get a can of glue to install. A wire brush and compressed air will get the old foam cleaned up.
I already had my seats out doing my floor when I decided to do my headliner. I ordered the material thru WLS headliners. I sent my visors in and they refinished them in the same material. Make sure you order enough glue. I think I used 3-4 cans. It's not that bad of a job.
