Did I mess up my headliner?
When I removed the headliner material from my 91 ext cab ranger's backer board, I think I may have taken off an important layer of the backer board. The headliner board on my truck is a sandwiched layer of fiberglass, not cardboard. When I peeled away the foam, I was left with a rough/loose surface of raw glass strands. I glued new fabric to the glass strands, but I'm not sure if it will hold.
Anyone have any experience with this? Am I going to be OK, or will the fabric fall off in a few weeks?
I don't really want to spend a couple hours putting everything back together if I'll have to undo it all again soon.
If I did screw up, does anyone have a fix?
Thanks, Paul W., Torrance, CA
