Project Excursion Kenne Bell Install
Finally got around to pulling my Kenne Bell V10 kit out of storage.
I will snap some photos of install and update this thread as I progress.
I'm a slow worker so this will take a few weeks.
Here is first photo of my system.
Still need injectors, fuel pump, and Snipper tune...5 star said they couldn't help.

I wish Jim Bell was still making these things! I've known Jim a long time and bought a lot of Buick parts from him. He's a sharp guy!

Nice! Should be an exciting thread.
Are you going to replace the pump itself or get a BAP?

If you look at photo you will see a boost a pump, but I'm not installing it. New pump and injectors will be installed.

Cool, didn't get a good look at the pic. What size injectors does the kit call for?

Kit specs oem injectors with boost a pump.
I will be using 25 lb injectors. My elevation would probley allow oem 19s but I will upgrade.
On my 1995 Eagle Talon tsi, my oem injectors don't max out at 15 psi boost and 6500 rpm. I have even hit 21 psi briefly with only 65% duty cycle on those injectors. Elevation is a funny animal.
Most oem injectors would max out at 1/2 that down below 5000 feet. Since I am at 8000 ft it takes more to max them out.
For instance this KB kit is a 6 psi system. At my elevation the first 3 psi just brings me to sea level. Apples to apples this KB kit for me is a 3 psi equivalent system. Below 6000 rpm oem injectors would probably work. Not taking that chance though.
