just purched a new body mount bushing kit, and it doesn't come with hardware. if someone before has made them please post a picture or digram of what you did. thanks a lot
I`m not 100% sure at the moment but if I remember correctly the pipe is just 1/2" black iron pipe. It is 1/2" inside and about 11/16" outside.
I made the double washers because I could not find 7/16" as big as the rubber mounts. So I welded the 7/16" washers to the 7/8" washers since they are about the same size as the rubber mounts.
Good job 650. Always nice to see someone thinking a bit! Yup, the bigger the washer ,the bigger the hole so if a person needs a big diameter washer you need to weld a smaller washer to it to kind of fill the bigger hole and get a proper bolt/size hole.
650 , so the washer with the welded stem sits on top bushing in-between cab and bushing its self? and the doubled up washer is for the bottom bushing? and you didnt bother with the double sleeve? thanks again for the help, im going to the exact thing, just confused on how you orientated it. i figured the body sat directly on the top bushing.
