Can you switch the instrument panels out with any of the other instrument panels? Ford has like 20 different ones for the 2005 models. Mine went bad and I need to replace immediately.
The 2005-07 higher end trucks have the trip computer and that will not work if the IP didnt have one. Non 4X4 trucks do not have the lights for the 4X4 in the IP. you will have to stay with a diesel IP if yo have a diesel. I am not sure but I believe the 99-03 7.3 is different than the 03-04 6.0 which is different than the 05-07.
Even if you swap it with the same part number, you'll have to get the cluster reprogrammed to match your vehicle options (unless it's an identical truck). We haven't heard of a Ford dealer that has the ability to change the mileage in the used cluster to show your actual mileage either.
