I have a set on my 42 parts truck that the rear end is good but I would like to go 12" longer since my truck will have a tank on the back and no bed.
Your in luck, looks like i will be cutting 12" off the running boards if i go with the 1 ton rear fenders. I will keep them for you when i cut them. Hope your not in a rush as i am working pretty slowly on the whole project.

Made a bit more progress this week.
got the rear end out, cleaned the box out (removed metal pan and the wood), got the running boards removed.
Went to swap meet today and found a 57" Ford 9" diff with big bearing axles.
going to try and remove the leaf spring next week.
I believe the old diff is a Eton ho72 from what i could research on google.

Things are coming along on your project. Wish I had that back window set up and the dome lamp. Would like to find both for mine.
