35 ton half flatbed

1935 ton and half flatbed. Papa bought in 1973, drove it some, then disassembled for restoration which he never got to do. All parts, mechanical and body have been stored well, protected. Chassis completely covered, tires & wheels kept in shop. Advice sought on selling. He would have wanted for someone like him to buy and restore but that greatly narrows market. Parting out seems disrespectful to a good, solid, rust free truck of the time. How many more are left in this condition? Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions.

It's good you want to keep it complete. Maybe some pictures, a location etc. Seems like this should be in the classifieds at the top of this page. Thanks for sharing this info with us

Thanks. Titles weren't required until after '75 in Alabama. Don't know if he has a bill of sale. Haven't come across one. He purchased the truck in 1973. Will look to see if there is a license plate and check with DMV for records. Will try and get some photos up in a couple of weeks after surgery.

Parting it out will be a lot of work and you'll still have half a truck when the good/desirable parts are gone. Advertising locally like on craigslist is free. You will get scammers responding and sometimes undesirables on your property that you won't feel comfortable with casing your place. Maybe you could scout out a local collector or two and offer it up to them
