Torque pro problems
Got torque pro and the wifi link.
The stock displays work such as turbo boost and MPH and RPM.
BUT when I try to add user PIDs I can only get engine oil temperature to work and intake air temp or something rather. And hardly anything else
I have just been copy and pasting the equations and PID #. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong. ?
Also the "stock" ford PIDs I uploaded from the apps database or whatever it is , don't work either. Only 1-2

Can you show a screenshot of how you have your Injector Control Pressure configured for an example?

Those screenshots don't look like anything I've seen in Torque Pro . . .

You don't have Torque Pro, you have a different app. I doubt any Torque Pro equations will work with it.

iPhone? I've never used this app, so I'm just going to "logic" may way through this:
The OBD mode 22 covers the "prefix" (think area code on a phone number), so we can delete the 22 on the PID number.
We need enhanced data, so the generic manufacturer would likely be a no-go. Can you select Ford?
ICP is a reading in PSI, not %. Max is much higher than 100:
Injector Control Pressure
Short Name: ICP
PID: 221446
Units: PSI
Max/Min: 3000.0/0.0 (stock engine)
Equation: ((A*256)+B)*.57
In your case the OBD mode would be 22 and the PID number would be 1446.
If that doesn't work, we may need to convert the PID numbers to hex code.

Well somebody said that my screen shots looked familiar. As the app isn't called torque pro when sold separately from the adapter. Thinking it was the same I bought it

To share with the readers looking at this thread - the menu screen on OBD2 Fusion is near identical to the OBD Link app that comes with the OBDLink LX or MX adapter.

So now do I really have to buy the ford pack with dash command? Or can I create my own PIDs.
I download a few ford packs from other ppl. Have yet to test them

Yes you will have to buy the ford parameters for the year of your vehicle. As far as I know you can't build your own PID's.

When I started in this hobby, Torque Pro was in it's infancy, and I didn't hear of it until after I spent $360 on AE to see and log my data (plus the engine tests).
It's less than a Jefferson to completely load the portable device up with an array of apps for our trucks today. While I "get" wanting to get the app that proves most useful to the user, I suspect one's time would be better spent reading up on and putting the app to use vs. lamenting over 5 or 10 bucks.
