CAC boot torque specs
doing an EGR delete on my truck. I found that the boots were cracked. Purchased new boots and clamps from Riff Raff. I've never had a problem with mine in the past, but reading about them I found lots of people who had them blow off. My wife drives this truck in rural areas so I would like for that to not happen for her. I can't seem to find the correct specs on how much to torque them down.

I don’t recall a spec being supplied. After asking a similar question, I got responses in the 90-110 in-lb range. I felt like something would break at that torque but all is good. My hand tightening was only about 45 in-lbs before and it just wasn’t enough as I’ve had boots blow off twice before.
