I know you prob needed those parts in a hurry but just the EBP sensor alone was 81.23 at Ficmrepair.com the thermostat was 21 I think. Just trying to help you save some cash in the future. He ships really fast to. Like Randy said above, between Ed and white bear, you could save a lot even with shipping.
Thanks for the FICMrepair site! I just needed the parts in hand so I can do the work little by little. I will certainly be going there from now on for the parts they offer!
You'll hate me but i bought my ebp sensor from ebay pretty cheap
It was however an oem piece make in Mexico. Did take a good bit of searching to find it though and i wouldn't recommend buying one from ebay to anyone.
I purchase most of the parts on ebay or Amazon. You will find gems quite often. For example... Genuine Ford Wire Repair Connector EBP Sensor Part 5C3Z 12224 A | eBay
Edit: Delphi seems like another really good brand for connectors and their prices are very good. I noticed the ICP connector on my truck is a Delphi which was on the truck when it was purchased 9 years ago.
Check out Riff raff diesel products they carry OEM parts too, have you changed the fuel filters since you've been home? , wondering if multiple things were going on here , like jelled fuel , I believe Watson mentioned this as well, and did you Verify if the EGR Valve was plugged in? Next thing to really monitor would be the Oil cooler, you got the engine pretty hot and with wrong coolant or even dirty cooling system will plug the cooler , I would also Liston for the water pump and Clutch fan operation to see if these are working properly.
The best indication of whether or not you have an oil cooler getting clogged is the check EOT and ECT after the ECT gets to normal operating temp. I stress that because you will have high deltas when the ECT is low.

The reason he said to make sure EGR is plugged in is because some PCM strategies will not operate the engine cooling fan properly with out an EGR valve plugged in. That is why some people plug it in and just leave it laying there after a delete.
