Stewart, that is a good question, I have not really checked. I think it will be taller, but now I need to go see...

Update, well it does sit taller than the folded seats, by more than a little.

LOL, I forgot the bottom seat rolls up out of the way before the back section folds down.

Our 2001 Chrysler T&C has a front console that can be removed and placed between the middle bucket seats. It uses a permanent floor bracket, then a latch to release, lift that end a bit and slide it to slip off the floor mount and it lifts right out.

In addition, the FRONT position includes contacts that provide POWER to the console.

About the same tan leather cover, might want to check it out if you can find one at a pick-n-pull?

Stumbled onto this thread while searching for something else. Thanks for this video link. This shop is 5 minutes from home for me. Guess, I will spend some time this cold afternoon perusing their website and maybe a trip to their shop

Finally got around to making a gauge pod for mine.

Cut some ABS pipe at a 45* angle and epoxied it on and then cut out the profile.

Shotgun mount... I have one out of a police car, it opens with a hidden button and a electro magnetic solinoid or a hand cuff key. Widely available used on eBay
