The cold wind blew in a light covering of snow last night.....then it kept blowing and blew it all away. It's still blowing....and still cold.
I have to tidy up the house a little.......someone is coming to look at it this afternoon. Fortunately we are in pretty good shape.

All we had was this icy wind all day.
Didn't take long to get the house ready....I was supposed to stick around, so I dressed warmly and went out to sharpen my chain saw. People took a quick look at the house and left......... Looks like all I got today is a sharp chain.....better than nothing.

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Been in Salem. Gun bill got delayed until tomorrow. They spent all day long debating the Minimum Wage law. Protestors interrupted several times, almost a near riot at one point with a few of them.
Can't figure these idiots out. They want high wages, $15 p/hour, and they want free housing provided to them????????????
The House of Reps ended up passing the Wage Bill. Has an emergency clause so the bill takes effect when the governor signs it. Establishes 3 tiers for the state.
You have to live in Portland, Bend or Eugene, if you want to be a first class citizen worthy and deserving of the top wage.
If you live anyplace else, you only get 2nd and 3rd class wage. Aren't the DEEEEMONcrats such wonderful folks?
They never got to the bill that turns the firearms "instant" background check into the "not so instant if ever" bill. It gets crammed down our throats tomorrow.
