Chris, maybe you should get yourself a dash cam.
After we had our little "incident" by Siletz Bay last week, we went into Newport and bought a dash cam. Came out of the store, installed it right there in the parking lot and we haven't had an incident since, including the trip into Salem traveling on Hwy 18 and Hwy 22 on Saturday with the bumper to bumper traffic of people trying to invade the Casino's and the beaches.
Seems to work as some kind of "buffer" or "deterrent".
Does the Dash Cam record Comments made about the ^&%$& Drivers.......??

Been staying close and taking care of the Warden. She has apparently picked up one of those exotic bugs that the folks at the casino insist on spreading around instead of staying at home with it. Hope she doesn't decide to "share". It's been a long day and it is looking like it could be a very long night.......

It does have that feature. You can turn the audio recording off if you want......

Jim if I get a dash came I wanted to post the videos to YouTube and see if I could at least make enough money to pay for the dash cam.
Monday morning I'm making a right turn (black box symbolizes truck) and I have some yahoo pull up on my right as I'm getting ready to turn almost crushed their car.

Chris, you would be surprised, (well maybe not), at how many MVA's I investigated in my career where a car ended up under the hitch bar or the trailer on a tractor trailer rig from that very thing. Often a log truck but there were quite a few tank (scary) trucks and a few rock/gravel truck combinations. I spent a lot of time working where triples were legal and frequently utitilized...

I would prefer to drive with a bunch of log trucks and chip trucks then these yahoos on four wheels.

Funny she should associate private driving with professional driving. Had that happen to me just the other day. When Tom and I went to the Range meeting at ODFW HQ in Salem last Saturday, he said it was a good trip and he liked riding with me because "I drove like a cop." Still trying to figure out exactly what that is supposed to mean...
