Howdy all......lots of on the road time the last few days.....Friday I went with a friend to LaGrande to pick up his latest engine aquisition.......If Luke is reading this, we stopped and had a nice visit with his old boss. Long drive, but it was a fun trip.
Then today, after church, my wife and I went for a drive, headed east through some country I hadn't seen much of, and ended up not getting home until 10:00......it was a fun day, and we saw some new country.
Back to the grind tomorrow, I think...
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. We have been on 'face time' with my daughter back in Grays Lake this morning. The movers are there packing them up for the transfer to San Diego. Anchors Away....
Didn't make it to Dairy Queen last night. Didn't get away from the farm until after the DQ was closed.
When I got to the farm, sister had a neighboring farmer over with a hay squeeze and was moving some hay out of the barn so she could put her 'special' hay in. Then we had a discussion about what she and her husband want to do with mother - I didn't shoot anyone...

You know, that's not a bad idea and he is a retired Firefighter so he just may do a favor for a retired cop - probably only cost me a case of cold beer.
He runs a hay compression plant where they take really big bales and squeeze and compress them into really little bails and then stuffs them into truck shipping containers. He is currently trucking the container to Kelso or Longview and shipping everything to Korea. Wouldn't that be interesting if one of the Koreans cut the strings and when the bail "popped" open.......feed the cows and fertilize the field all at once!
