A little rain today, but it didn't amount to a lot.....will take what we can get tho.
Got a few things done , so that was good....however it seems the transmission has failed in the wife's car.....it's in my shop on jackstands now, but that is as far as I've got......no big hurry, thats why I have an extra car. Could be worse. With church tomorrow and some unexpected company arriving, I may not get much started on it.

Yes, I'm still a Park Ranger based in Springfield. I still get up the McKenzie fairly often but I'm mostly at Shotgun Creek south of Brownsville.

Shotgun Creek would be a heck of a lot closer to home. I was thinking about you a few months ago when the BS down in Harney County erupted. Had a cousin (who lives down there) and some former LEO colleagues caught up right in the thick of things.

Live at the base of the Coast Range mountains, which are considered rain forest. It's 28 miles (45 klicks) as the birds and clouds fly from the Pacific Ocean Beaches.

Have to get out to the farm. Western Front is heating up. Back later, maybe.
