We had to go back to the valley again today....Stopped in Forest Grove for a couple of minutes.....filled up with gas and got some coffee.
Rained all the way on the pass,,,roads were clear, so I didn't mind that a bit.
Over and back, no problem. 8 hours of driving......my hat's off to you Chris.....don't see how you do it day in and day out.

Hey Wayne I have driven from Seaside picked a cousin in Beaverton over to Christmas Valley and back to Seaside in the same day.
Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Still raining - when does July get here?
The red clay sump drain in the farm house basement has apparently completely collapsed now. Not only does it not allow water out, a substantial amount of water is coming back in.
Re-plumbed the sump pump up and out of the basement with a temporary "surface" drain line. Basement dry and pump staying on top of it. Have to go out to the ranch in a couple of minutes and extend the drain line. Want to get it to the hillside in the upper pasture.
Good Afternoon Ford fans'. Had a long day yesterday then insomnia kicked my but, woke up late and hit the ground running still stuff to get done. Have a great and safe afternoon.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Have a total of roughly 260' of pipe down now. Temporary emergency drain project complete - no standing water in the basement, just a rapid flow ground water mini creek coming back into the basement from the drain that should be taking water out.
Taking two Aleve, having a venison burger and going to bed....
