Remote start climate settings?

Hello all. I recently purchased a 2015 xtr sport with command start. I live in northern manitoba Canada where temperatures and get to -40 F.

So basically I'm not happy with the current set climate features. When I start it, the heat is on but not at the max and the fan is very low. Also the seat warmer comes on minimum.

So my question is can ci possibly set these to my preference? I've tried searching in the settings and everything and left the controls set to max before I turn the truck off but to no prevail. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Which settings are you searching? IF you have the touch screen, and are trying these settings, I believe you are in the wrong place. On my Lariat and my previous XLT, the remote start settings are in instrument panel. I don't remember the specific title/heading but it is in the end of the list. I believe there are only a few options, on/off/auto, for most of the remote settings. I know I set everything to auto. I also know it takes time for my seats to warm up and I am sure it seems even longer in those temperatures. We are having a very mild winter so far (calling for 63F tomorrow), so I haven't really had a chance to see how the settings react to outside temperatures. I will check my settings and report back if no one else has given a better response by then.

Auto sets the climate to 72 degrees and adjusts the seat temp depending on ambient temp.

Try turning on the "Max Defrost" before you turn the truck off. The button is on the heat console, not the touch screen. It turns everything on high.

"MAX Defrost: Press the button to maximize defrosting. Outside air flows through the windshield vents, and the fan automatically adjusts to the highest speed. You can use this setting to defog or clear a thin covering of ice from the windshield. The heated rear window also automatically turns on when you select MAX Defrost."

But only if you have the remote start set to last settings and not on "AUTO".

I leave mine in Auto. You don't turn the fan and heat to high, just leave it on Auto and turn the "Max Defrost" on. It might turn the Auto off, I'll have to check.

Oh good I'll give it a try and see if there is a way to get it working better than just auto does,, which I'm not too happy with..

I just tried it. When I turn the "Max Defrost" on it turns off the "My Temp " and "Auto". Then when I use the command start the defrost fan and heat come on high as well as the rear defrost.

Do the seat and steering wheel heaters come on also?
