Remote Start Questions
The dealer showed me how the remote start worked on a lariat the other day, question is, if its hot outside and say you want the AC seats and the fan to be on when you remote start it from indoors, do you set it before you cut the truck off and it puts it in memory or do you have to go out and turn everything on?
Also does anybody know if a Ford Navigation unit can be put in a XLT truck??

Based on pre-set outdoor air conditions, the truck will turn on the associated modes of heating or cooling to pre-condition the space. Once you enter the truck and inser the key, then it goes back to whatever your settings were previously set to.

To my knowledge, the A/C seats are not turned on with the remote starter...at least mine never have. The climate control will run with the last setting you entered before shutting it off but the seat heaters/coolers are reset when the truck is shut off and require manual reactivation.
