We never lost power even with the 40+mph winds on Wednesday and Thursday. Lost it this morning at 3:40 with 9mph winds. And it just came back on. Figures most morning I get up for work by 4, but could of slept tell 5 today because I'm working on new river. But no power means no fan and I can't sleep with out a fan running so the minute the juice went out my eyes opened before the fans quit turning.

Don't know about power, but I certainly had a queen mattress knock me back trying to move in that wind. Slowed me down quite a bit. A huge thanks to Dustin, who came out this morning and helped with load after load of stuff. I finished up the last box around 9 pm. Bob too for showing up, and helping for a few hours. Her old place was a third story apartment. 46 stairs, none of us skipped leg day today. That's for sure.

Thanks guys, you really saved my a**, and made Mary extremely happy.

I'm glad I was able to help for the time that I did. But really only 46 stairs, seemed like 146 to my knees. Glad you two were able to finish it all. Moving sucks

Getting ready to head out to watch the first mudrace of the season. Maybe it'll be that kick in the *** I need to finish my truck up.

On another note checked the eggs and....

Thats a egg that fits snuggly in a large carton beside what I assume is a double yoke. Put a tape measure on it and it's just over 3" tall and a hair over 2" wide.

I mean they are all decent size birds, probably all in the 7-8 pound range.

I think it was the white one.

Tune up

I'm pricing spark plus this morning, and wondering if anybody has used these new expensive spark plugs in an older, high mileage engine, and has notice an improvement over the stock Motorcraft $3 plug, over these $6 to $10 plugs
Ka'Bluey has never had more than probably 1,000 mile put on him in any year that I've owned him. So I'm really leaning towards the old $3 plug.

I think proper gap is worth more than fancy marketing. I did use some E3's on an old Chevy truck once. They worked fine but can't say they "improved" anything. Certainly not ( to me) worth paying three times as much.

I've been using NGK for a long time for all my vehicles. Bikes included. They aren't expensive or fancy. But they work consistently on all my rides.

Bob in all honesty I use autolite plugs in my 429 and they work just fine and so does 90% of the sub 500hp people i race with. Hell i know a few guys that are pusing 800hp plus nos that run them. I typically change them once a year and they don't need it then.

Is that egg a one time thing or does she always lay big eggs? That's a whopper.

I've always wanted chickens and goats. Eggs and milk and cheese in your back yard.

My thinking too.
I've gone ahead and got the new Motorcraft stock plugs this morning, as well as cap and rotor. I'm sure just changing them I'll notice an improvement.
Time to get outside and get busy. Tune up, and then going over all of the lights on Ka'Bluey. I have turn signals, and driving lights that don't work.
If anybody's bored, c'mon over, I'll be in the driveway.

every time weve tried using them things in the vehicles we have theyve been nothing but problems... kept causing misfires shortly after install.. would replace em back with factory plugs and problems instantly went away...

Lunch is off of the grill, and down the neck, steaks and shrimp have been prepped for sinner this evening.
No on to the important stuff. Tim and I have the new spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor installed, and truthfully, I was hoping to see at least a couple of nasty spark plugs, but they weren't that bad looking. But, the nose can and does tell a lot. I've noticed that with the true duel exhaust, that left bank has some steam that the right side doesn't have, after reaching a running temp, and way above freezing temperature. So I'm leaning towards a leaking intake manifold or head gasket on that side.
So far the plans are to go ahead and get the seals and rear brakes for that rear axle, do an oil change ( no sign of coolant in the oil....yet), and just baby him around until I can have another 400 ready to drop in there.

BEER RUN

She always lays a pretty big egg, normally about the size of a x large egg from the store. I couldn't resist and made that one for breakfast this morning...

2 full size yokes popped out when cracked open.
