Odd.... The ones I've had were great.. I did have a TH125? In an 85 Celebrity that shucked it's lockup convertor.. I just unplugged the lockup wiring and Dar put another 75k on it before we gave the car to a cousin..
That's not the first time. The FWD 6F35 was a joint design between Ford and GM. I think those are holding up well, but my personal experience is limited. My worst bad habit is not holding onto a vehicle long enough to wear out tires, let alone for any kind of opinion on reliability.

no problem. I think I read about that a year ago in a diesel magazine. I think it is for trucks. hopefully the bell housing bolt pattern is universal or easy to change to swap between trucks. give more availability for finding used transmissions when they start to crap out
