I hydroplaned down Dayton hill yesterday in the van coming back from shopping. That was an uncomfortable feeling, as I had never experienced it before. Atleast it didn't last more than a few seconds before it grabbed traction again. Now that I know how the light weight van handles in rain, I'm not looking forward to driving it in snowy conditions. I really wish it was FWD or AWD. I guess I got spoiled with the 4Runner & the 4WD. LOL
Guess I should find an empty parking lot with nothing to hit & go play (I mean) practice skid control in the winter conditions with the van.
On that note, time for me to get ready to take the kids to practice.
You sure have hit a bad stretch of weather for Arizona Randy.
Well, I'm told by those who live here year around and those that have snow-birded here for a number of years, that December and early January is cool and periodic rains. This area only gets 13.5" of rain per year, and most of it is probably during the winter months. I'm okay with it.. I have things here in the mini-shop in the back of the camper to keep busy with..
