She seems to be doing well Randy. Apparently she was complaining about being tired earlier today, which is a little concerning. We will see, gonna keep a close eye on her for the next few weeks.
I can't say it's the same for kids - but adults take a day or two to flush all the anesthesia from their systems.. I know after my last surgery, I slept most of the time for a couple days afterward.. You may want to check with your family doctor to be sure..

Thanks Randy. What surprised us with this one is how active she was immediately afterwards. This was surgery number 18 for her, and we've never seen her do so well that soon. I think part of that is that she's getting older, the majority of her troubles were in her first year, she had her first birthday in the PICU.
