Sorry glenn. I'll be sure to remember not to forget again lol. I think I used a 1/4" drive socket with a swivel and an extension to get that back bolt off.
There is a bracket back there on the drivers side that gets in the way. Some just bend it up but it is only held on by 1 bolt. Don't know what it is for as it doesn't seem to do anything. Remove it and you will have more room to work in. That was the hardest one for me to get out. Took me a day and 1/2 to get the turbo out. With the new pedestal only took me 1 hour to reinstall.
I actually dropped that nut into the depths somewhere. I figured, oh well, once the beast is off I can find it. No go, I looked everywhere so went down and purchased another one. Come to find out it somehow took a ride with the turbo assembly when placing turbo assembly on the bench. When replacing the pedestal the nut was underneath the original pedestal, go figure.
If I am seeing it right, you can turn that 90* angle fitting clockwise and line it up to connect the new fuel line. I am not sure how your kit works, but you don't have to replace that fitting if you can't get to it. Just disconnect the fuel line, turn it, and connect the new one. That's how I did mine, but I may have different fittings than what your kit came with. Don't forget to clean!! LOL
Turns out I don't have a deleted pedestal... It's on its way. And there is no freaking way to get to this bolt. I'm telling y'all.
This is the ds collector, back of head, and said bracket... I think. There is no way to get any kind of socket in there. I've tried.
Remove the bracket with the stud on it. Slide your finger on that bracket towards the turbo. You will feel a bolt. Remove that bolt and the bracket will come off giving you room to work.

That fitting will be a return line - 3/8 inch. The kit feeds fuel to the front of the heads away from turbo and exhaust heat and return from rear of heads to regulator.
