How did you manage to remove the intake plenum from the passenger side? those bolts near the timing cover are near impossible to remove with out removing the timing cover.
it was easy. I took the front cover off . I think the fuel line needs to be removed and then use a open ended wrench.

The intake has a slot in it, not a hole, loosen the bolt and slid it out of there.
Well... The pedestal headache wss not an exaggeration... An hour and 13,678 different wrench and socket combinations later.... I got one of the back bolts loose.
Not even sure how to get to the driver's side back bolt?

Remember to check my thread on the SD center cartridge and pedestal if you plan on keeping your stock turbo.
I definitely gave it a good read.. Looked slick! I'm on a budget (blown a long time ago) and time crunch so unfortunately I won't be able to do it... Maybe next time the turbo is out...

That sucks time is always an issue and of course MONEY! Pm if if your interested in the e99 pedestal and SD cartridgea have spare of each
