Hello everyone, I'm going to be removing my turbo and cleaning out the vanes in it soon and installing a EGR delete kit as well at the same time. What gaskets and Orings will I need to do this? Also is there anything else I should be changing while I'm in there that's cheap and easy? I'd like to get away with only going to the stealership once if possible. Thanks for your help.
Just quick---intake gaskets, fuel line copper seals,, all the turbo goodies when torn down, tstat housing gasket, intake to front cover donut oring, heater hard line oring, turbo drain orings (verify new style or old drain--same with turbo feed line), oil filter cap oring, fuel filter cap oring, ccv tube oring, oil filter standpipe gasket, turbo mount kit (should have the gasket, oring, and bolts in it for turbo feed which are listed above)--could be more--all I can think of at the moment.
The rest depends on the egr delete you do.
Not knowing the history of your EX, I would recommend STC fitting, Standpipes, dummy plugs, turbo feed and drain tube only because your going to be that deep in to it.
Intake and valve cover gaskets are reusable but I would replace them. They tend to get bridle.

The stc fitting only applies if you have the 05 engine. Plenty of 05' ex's were shipped with the 04' engine verify by reading the label on your passenger side valve cover.

Ok cool. Thanks. So they didn't use the failure prone SCT fitting until 05? Why do I need to change the turbo feed and drain tubes? I'm pretty sure it has the factory turbo on it with 212 000kms not to bad really. My heads gaskets were done on warranty around 60 000kms would they have replaced the SCT fitting then and maybe updated the stand pipes?

You might check your build date to see if you have an 04 vs 05. I don't know what dealer practices are but it will be easy to just pull the cover and check. If they replaced the HG I bet the SP were done.
The updated turbo feed tube is now a solid tube instead of the braided type. I'm not sure what changed with the drain tube...

Ok it says 2004 on the valve cover so I should be good there. I should be able to look at the turbo feed line and tell if it's a solid line or braided. Thanks for your help.
You won't need it all but the oil cooler gasket kit should
have all the gaskets other than the intake ones that you
can reuse if they are still good.
If you find you have some extra $ you can spend then Updated turbo drain
and the updated turbo oil feed line. The feed is an easy any time install.
Where the drain is a bit more work because you have to move the turbo.
So with that in mind I guess I would say do the drain now and the other later.

Ok thanks for your help. I've found a gasket set at my local parts store Fel Pro HSU 26374. I'm hoping this covers it all. Also I've decided to do the oil cooler and feed/drain lines at the same time. Do I have to get the oil cooler and turbo lines from the stealership? They just soak us around here.
If you have the time you might try FICMRepair.com - FORD Powerstroke 6.0 FICM Repair, PHP Tuning and Truck Parts
They can ship up to you. Also they will be real Ford parts.
If your doing a cooler they have that in a kit and that would
cover all the gaskets. for the 2 oil parts feed and drain try
