Alright I have not had time lately to do anything but I will soon so I want to get parts coming. Here are a couple kits I have found wanted to know your thoughts on them. One is alto one is borg Warner. My truck is used to haul my family, go camping, trailering car to race track (car weighs 2,400 lbs) truck is completely stock lots of highway driving.
Both are pretty good kits for a stock clutch count rebuild with upgraded clutch material. The first one includes the bushings. But unless you have the proper drivers, it would make them difficult to install correctly. Borg Warner clutches are preferred by many rebuilders. Though I haven't used them myself, I would recommend them for those who are going with a more moderate type of build. I would, however, recommend to replace all the bonded pistons. It looks like only the Intermediate band apply servo is included. I would also replaced the OD and Coast Clutch ones, as well.
Can you post a better picture of both sides of the Center Support housing? It looks like it may have some wear and there is an upgrade for that. Feel free to contact me, if you have any questions. I have helped several members with their rebuild questions and will try to steer you in the right direction.
