I need more power. What are some good simple ways to get it? I have a Y-Pipe (For sound basically, probably doesn't add too much since my engine is stock). So far I've replaced 4 spark plugs (couldn't get to the other ones, he he). So what can I do, to get lots more power out of my engine aside from boring it out? I want to put headers on, but dunno when I'll have the time or money for that. So what are some basic easy things I can do?
Aftermarket ignition system, 8.5 or 9mm plug wires(make sure that #7 & #8 don't cross), K&N replacement filter, wrap your assy from the air filter to the throttle body with an insulated foil wrap and probably a few other relatively inexpensive things that I can't think about now. Verify that your timing is set to specs as well as replace your fuel filter just because.
These are pretty cheap with the exception of the ignition and it;'s not real bad. I don't have it though just a MSD Blaster TFI Coil.

Bronco's are big, heavy vehicles that aren't going to be fast unless you somehow manage to stick 400 - 500 HP under the hood. I put a brand new Ford Motorsport 351 in my '85 that had about 350 HP, and still wasn't going to win any races. It was much better than the stock 200 or so HP, but still nowhere close to fast.
