window motor testing

have a 92 f250 gasser. need to test window motors the harness is a 2 wire. is 1 qire up and 1 wire down and grounds through the mounting or is one wire power and other ground and the polarity is reversed? help me out

The Ground and Power are swapped with the buttons to control Up and Down operation.

Another way of saying what rla2005 already said is that to drive the window up one of the wires is hot (I think the red, but I could be wrong) and the other (yellow?) is grounded. Then to drive the window down it's the opposite: the yellow is hot and the red is grounded. The motor mounting is not a part of the electrical circuit.
