Ignition key code
Damn, lost the only key to my 05 F350, and the dealer says the key code is no longer in the system. I read on another thread that the keycode can be found on the door lock cylinder, but took both out and nothing. Anyone know where to find the keycode? This truck doesn't have a security system, it's just a plain flat Ford key. I hate to pay a locksmith when the dealer will make a new for for $17 if I have the keycode.

The keycode is not on the cylinder. If you know the selling dealer, they might have it. We (Ford dealer) can only go back 10 years to get codes and 2016 models are out. Other than that, locksmith is your only option.
