Hey all. My first post. Be gental. I just bought a 2005 F350 6.0L and a pretty noob question..... Does it have a low fuel light on the dash? I getting pretty low and nothing has come on.

 

Yes it does, it's near the empty on the fuel gauge. Not good for diesel to get that low.

Do not let your diesel run out of fuel.

Mine came on last week i was already heading to a fuel station. If the stated 28 gal tank is correct i put in 26.7Gal. That leaves Just a hair over a gallon not much warning in my book. I generally try to not let it get to the 1/4 tank mark.

 

I'm to scared to look for mine. Never see mine come on.

 

I get a display and chime when I hit 50 miles to empty.
I have a 38 gal tank and have been down to 30 miles and
still only put in 34 gals at the most ever.

I have gotten mine down to less than 30 miles to empty and did not see the light come on.
