THIS IS A GOOD ONE!!!
hi all,
I thought I just bought a 1987 F350 with a regular cab and a 5 speed manual transmission. Come to find out the vin that is on the title and the vin plate on top of the dash comes back to a 1987 f250 supercab with a 6.9 liter diesel. The motor that is in the truck is a 7.3 international, or I believe it is. The vin plate looks like it has been changed. is there a vin plate anywhere else on the truck? all the wiring is hacked up and the high beams don't work, an old truck I figured the it would be on the floor to change from high to low but I can not find it anywhere. any help would be appreciated to figure out what truck I actually have...

If they went thru the effort to remove the dash or windshield to drill out rivets, I HIGHLY doubt the sticker is still in the door jam
