C6 aftermarket shift or find a shifter from another truck?

Hello all, so I have found myself a C^ trans for My 351w build and have been looking around for a good quality shifter, only one thing, all the ones I have found cost almost as much as what I payed for the tranny alone, now that got me wondering if I could pilage the linakge out of a junkyard column and other brackets and the like for my F-150 from a doner truck of some sort.
Or if someone knew of a good place to get a shifter that will be made to last for a good price that has missed my eyes during my internet searches that would be just as awesome. Tranny I got came from a junkyard 86 F-250 but if the guy still has it I might be able to see if he has what I need out of that truck for a fair price. But would the amount of labor justify paying more for a nice aftermarket shifter of some sort.
Just a noob needing a small helping hand once more.

Thanks again as always Shadow

any column shift from a 87 to 91 F-150, F-250, F-350, or F-superduty truck with a C6 trans will work. you will need the column, shift linkage, and frame mount.
