The IPR isn't right because it may be compensating for a failing HPOP or a HPO leak somewhere. ICP should be nearer the 580 mark, not 900.

Failed IPR, ICV, clogged screen, failed STC or failing HPOP all causes of low pressure.

Any updates from d450heavy?

The ICP is fine on a cold idle, it will be higher at initial start up then should eventually settle down to the upper 500 or low 600 as the truck gets warm.

Your IPR is low, it should read upper 20's at cold idle then fall to low 20's when warm.

Drove it to the shop with my Jeep in tow and the final numbers were with a hot motor at idle.

FMP 48.0
ICP 582
IPR 10.2 (their Snap-On diagnostic tool was 24%)
SYC 1

They did a test on the IPR and their Snap-On tool said it was at 24%, so I wonder how accurate the ScanGauge is? I will make sure I entered the right numbers when I get the truck back. They are thinking it could be a sticking IPR valve. I'll post back with the results. thoughts?

with those numbers it looks right. Maybe pull the IPR and clean it, make sure it doesn't have a clogged screen.

looks like the IPR is a little low?

so the 14.81 is Idle cold and 10.2 is warm definitely a Hpop leak the 24% that ford has set Values for Idle . the IPR you will need a special socket to pull that sensor out , unless you can Beg, borrow, or steal one from a Neighbor that will help, I think Harbor freight has them I do know Auto Zone and Napa does. here are the IPR PID's

I added that PID that 04BADFORD provided, mine was wrong by a few digits. so the IPR is saying 24.61% with a 581 ICP. still no idea why the truck would shut off, but it does sputter a bit before it dies. I then start it back up again, no issue, no CEL. I did have a BFD kit installed, wondering if crud from that install could be plugging up the IPR? I'll pull it and check it out.

If it sputters, it could be fuel.

Ok, I replaced the IPR valve, the old one had metal inside and a broken screen so I just got a new one and replaced it. Thinking it could have been stuck open and died at idle. Hopefully that takes care of it, until the next time. Hope it's not a sign of things to come, HPOP failure or <insert_other_6.0_problem>. is it common for IPR valves to have metal in them when they go bad? Thanks for the suggestions, Hopefully D450Heavy got his truck running and the issue resolved.
