Myrtle beach, when we go there we stay at Ocean lakes. Never can get over how many campsites are there. Hope it was a good trip. Nice looking setup even though it's blurry.

Here's a couple pictures of my new rig. I just picked it up from the dealer today. This is our first RV of any kind and we are excited to get out and use it this summer, starting in about 3 weeks.

2016 Jayco Eagle HT 26.5 BHS

I need to adjust the suspension to the taller setting to level things out, but it pulled beautifully home from the dealer today. I am also going to be installing a Reese Sidewinder pin box to make sure that I don't have any trailer to cab contact issues.

Nice rig.....
Have fun......take your time, don't get in a rush.

Find a empty parking lot or open field .....practice backing.

BTW: you can lower the 5th wheel hitch a little.....that will level out the 5th wheel.

Nicely done 5ers. I looked at some a couple weeks ago at a small show locally. Now the fun begins outfitting it with 'things' you just have to have.

You may not need the Sidewinder. Like Roy said, a parking lot, practice backing but you may also find that it will turn far enough for 90% of the CGs with the extended king pin box.

Thanks Roy, I am definitely taking my time with this one. I am also planning on plenty of backing practice in empty parking lots, using the marked spots as targets to get lined up in as though they were spaces at a CG.

I should have noted that the pin box and hitch are both already in the "shortest" positions, so the trailer suspension and tires are the next place for adjustments. The trailer has two holes for the leaf springs from the factory and it is just set in the shorter of the two settings, so it should be fairly straight forward to make the adjustment. If the suspension adjustment doesn't give me quite enough height I will upgrade to 16" wheels, which is one of the factory options, but didn't come on my trailer.

We have less then 2 weeks to go before our first outing - and the weather is and has not been cooperating (along with a couple other home type issues). It's supposed to rain then get cold again through much of next week so a heavy jacket will be needed.

All set at camping sight, just waiting until grounds open in less than two weeks.

Yes that is the progression but under this heading/topic it is all Glamping! And many seem to be getting into it and enjoying it. All nice choices here.

Started with a poncho and rope, and 2 small boys. Then a eureka tent. Divorce, and a pup tent. Colman popup. 24' bumper pull, then a 30' bumper pull, and now 37' fifth wheel.

And a lot of good memories.
