Just a suggestion, have you ever considered lifting the 5er by putting the leaf springs on top of the axle. This would level it off so it sits level. It's well documented on the net if you're not familiar. Many call it an axle flip.

Yup, brilliant idea!
Yes, I am familiar with an axle flip. Yes, I am all for flipping the axles. I didn't want a huge monster of a camper. We like going into the mountains with the camper and we seek out forest service campgrounds and those that are well off the beaten path.

Oh, ok. A little height probably won't hurt to bad compared to the piece of mind.
Nice size for what you're doing. I'm always looking for one like yours for those boonie camping trips for me and my son. I just don't see them out here.

They are hard to come by. I don't know of any in production now. All have slide outs and the ability to stand up in the front room. I like the low profile and no slides. Less to go wrong.
Some nice looking 5th wheels and trucks out there guys. I have finally gotten around to posting on the boards after spending countless hours on the 6.0 forums lurking and reading and figuring out what to do to my truck. I have since upgraded to a 2011 with the 6.7 and boy does it pull our 2003 Dutchmen 29RL really nice.

Looking over your setup 5th wheel pic, it reminds me very much of my wife's and my first 5th wheel, and set up for camping.
Wishing you well for the many years of happy camping down the road.

This is our first 5th wheel that we have had now for about 2 years and we love it. I grew up camping and doesn't compare to the travel trailers we had back then. You have a great looking setup and I'm slightly jealous of the color of your truck as that is what I wanted but the bank account said no.
Thank you for wishes, I hope you and yours have many years of great camping as well.

It's Kinda funny how that worked with the color as I had not intended on matching the truck and trailer I just happened to get a good deal on the truck and didn't think of it until the first time we hooked up. I will say the white on white does look better than the Toreador red and white.
