Even though the siding on the drivers side of the 00 Cardinal ripped off on the trip up, we still enjoyed a beautiful 5 days of camping with perfect weather back in August.
..The road to the final price was a bumpy one... always is when the general manager ends up being involved....but at the end of the day I ended up paying very little after the trade. Like $4K very little....lol
Ahhhhh yes, Don Strollo, the co owner and the main reason we didn't buy new from Albany RV. Aug 2014. They were ~18 miles away, and now their new store on the Northway, ~10 miles.
Sounds as though you were able to hammer out a great deal though. Best of luck as it looks very nice.

Well it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to score a camper that isn't terribly old and was this well taken care of at a great price.
I called and had them run some numbers and when they called me back and told me the camper was $12k, I responded with a craigslist add posted by a salesperson at Albany RV of the identical 5th wheel for $9100! They had to give it to me at that price so instead of paying high retail, I paid under retail. They weren't happy about it and tried changing the trade in offer.... but I guess they still made something on it as they reluctantly went for the deal.
They gave me way more than they wanted to on the trade as the trade in offer was based on the $12k selling price and they had to give it to me for $9100.... It would have been silly to not go for it.... and they layout is perfection for us.

Sounds like the private deal I made about 15 years ago on a TT. Advertised one place at one price and another a couple thou more. I held them to the lower plus hit them with an even lower offer which we split.

Might just see you on the Northway someday!!
Maybe! We head up to Lake George RV Park in early August...... Other than that, we camp close to home at a Yogi Bear.... the kids are glued to the splash park.
