P1316 Code

What do I do? Do I need a new IDM?

P1316 Code

I am going through the same issue, except mine is intermittent. a p1316 is generally a uvch open circuit. is the truck missing or running rough?

It doesn't sound like it's running poor or anything, but I do notice compared to other 7.3's I've driven, it feels like it has no *****. It doesn't have the power like it should.

It probly wouldnt be a bad idea just to pop the valve covers off one day and check out the wires.

P1316 means there are codes stored inside the IDM. You'll need the proper diagnostic tools to retrieve those codes.
