Got Er built! I used square tube since I had it laying around.

I painted it red cuz the new mufflers are red. I wanted it to kind of stand out to anyone who looks underneath.

No exhaust pipes built yet. I'll be working on that tomorrow afternoon. Should go pretty quickly.

Holy hell it's FRIGGIN' LOUD!
I had to drive it to work this morning with open headers. I swear it's louder than a nascar stock car. Haha I definitely need to get the pipes built ASAP

Ah. Good news. That means you got the right side header to fit also. Did you have to do any "messaging" to get it in?

I had to remove the front crossmember and trim it down even farther than I previously had. With it out it slipped right in. The driver side put itself on.

Notice the passenger side is cut down completely flat. As low as possible without compromising it.

Well my plans to build the pipes today are shot to hell. It started raining and I really don't want to lay in mud and try to weld.

Got it all done and installed a little while ago. Went on a test drive and it sounds pretty good. A lot more "hot rod". Once the glasspack mufflers get broke in I think it will even better.

Noticeably stronger on the top end! Cruises with a higher vacuum reading.

I'm still getting used to it. I was fond of the old systems sound.

It just changes the character of the truck so much I think. I might have to give up the glasspacks for something a little quieter though. Idk, it just seems really loud to me. Maybe it is maybe it isn't. I've only heard it from the cab.
