When I first got the software , I ran a test . I posted a thread on a Mustang forum for people who have had their engines Dyno'd . I had them give me their engine specs ran my DD5 then compared to the actual Dyno results . All in all the DD5 software was +/- like 3% of actual . biggest difference was was with the FE engines and TQ software was +5% of actual .

I didn't mean in general Mike. Please don't misunderstand. I meant maybe a glitch with something this time with these particular parameters. In computer programming anything's possible.
My engine isn't making that until 1500, but I guess the Windsor engine has smaller intake and exhaust ports, so airflow and scavenging would be more efficient down there. That's the only thing I can think of that would let it gain so much down low. That and the little higher compression. Maybe with a smaller-ish, wider angle cam that fills the cylinders better.
Still though, 1000 rpm isn't much past idle. If it truly makes that much, that's impressive. Especially for a short stroking small-block.
Just bumping this up. I haven't forgotten about it. I'm going to pick up the new tubing and mufflers tomorrow. I should have it built by the end of the week.
buy the summit U pipe kit , it gives you a ton of options just cut what you need and weld . their X pipe comes in handy too , i used the x pipe ,u pipe and 2 4 foot straights to build my exhaust .
oh no option for spacers in DD5 .
