Put a few coats of clear on it before you install it! The PO of my truck was a moron and that's all I can say about that.

Good looking out I'll make sure to either do that or try to find some clear vinyl I can wrap it with.

If you guys are so ocd about symmetry, what do you do about the drivers side drop differential, driveshaft, track bar, pitman and steering box, and drag link? Lol.

I think you just have to accept that the front end is asymmetrical. The dual kits add literally zero benefit over a single one.

My oem is leaking oil so I'll be replacing it with something like the kyb shortly.

I hope the op has better luck with his kit from Pmf than I have with my order. Ordered in November and just got an email back that it might be ready to ship next week.

Funny you mention that...when I ordered my 2 pieces on Monday I told Trevor/Travis (can't remember his name now) (he is the owner) that I needed it by Wednesday. I opted for standard ground shipping and to allow it to arrive a day late. Too my displeasure, I get a ship notice on Tuesday...no parts today, won't be here till tomorrow. I know it's only a day off, but it's the principal of it that really pisses me off. I called earlier enough on Monday to make any shipping cutoff time later that afternoon. Guess I wasn't clear enough that I wanted my damn parts sooner than later. (rant over)

I sure hope you are waiting for something super custom/one-off because I'd have canceled my order long ago and let everyone know about the experience.

Is there a special reason you guys are going with this kit/this seller?

I did for a few reasons...
1) least expensive for a dual Bilstein setup $299
2) it will sit at the same height as tie rod...not below like most others
3) very solid mount as it bolts up to front differential cover and front axle
4) he is on the west coast...so I expected a quicker delivery without spending a fortune.
5) and most importantly...its dual Bilsteins (I know I already said that)

Well it's complicated and it's a little bit my choice. I ordered the 08 rear spring swap conversion hangers, which basically no one else has, and I got them in the after Thanksgiving sale, and they never go on sale. Was told they would ship in mid December. Waited, new years and no kit. Emailed, no response. Called, was told the kits sold during the sale go to the "back of the list automatically" or something like that, and I "should have known that." (for the record he later denied saying this and said I misunderstood him) I was told they would ship as soon as the powdercoater returned from the holiday a week after new years. Was told they were done and waiting for paint. Said nothing he could do. Offered me my money back but I have 2008 rear leaf springs laying here I spent some money on so I said no ill wait. A couple more weeks. February now. No kit. Called again. Was told that he felt bad and had refunded an additional seventy bucks. Was told they would be ready for shipping the following Monday. A few more weeks. I call back. He's says well we redesigned the kit and I could ship you the old one but it's harder to install. The new one will be better. I said sure why not. That was maybe six weeks ago. Was just told it would be ready for ship next week. Understandably skeptical at this point. I've read a lot of positive feedback from other forum users for their products but Trevor does not always have the best customer service attitude, when he told me my parts went to the end of the line after I was told mid December ship date, he was like "well that's not my problem either you wait or I'll refund your money." He at first denied that he ever said mid December until I found it in writing. I dunno, I have bad days and I lose my **** sometimes so I am trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. I bought them on sale and got seventy bucks back so I'm sure he is not making much money on me at this point. I really just want my hangers. Rant over.

Well that is quite the lesson in patience and it's still not done yet. Good on ya for being patient. I could probably use some more of that as my wife always tells me. I hope you get your conversion hangers one of these days in the near future!
