Even after the rebuild on my turbo (6.0 though), I had a small amount of oil get into the CAC pipes (and intercooler). Likely your issue is bad seals in the turbo. Fairly easy to rebuild and the kits aren’t super expensive. Keep everything nice and clean and double check your work. There’s all sorts of rebuild manuals out there too, so you’d probably be able to find one online. Hardest part is any bolts on the hot side because they get stuck and rusty. It’s easy to break one off. Put them all back with anti seize.
That’s because it’s not your turbo labrinth seal leaking, you need the CCV reroute or Racor catch can to stop sucking oil vapor into the turbo via the intake fitting. Do this and your CAC pipes, turbo, intercooler and intake will be dry as a bone. The turbo shafts are tapered so the more boost the better the metal labrinth seals seal oil in.
What is this seat back mod? Mine fall all the time, lol
Ford Expedition seat latches to keep the boards locked in the up position. You can see the latches in the last photo a couple posts up. Look in the Tech Folder at the top of the page for DIY.
She is gone!! Sold her a couple of months ago. Still heartbroken, but she went to a guy from one of the gun forums I am on..He has 4 kids with another on the way. He has been after if for almost a year and since I rarely drive the EX any more, we decided to let her go to a new family. Served us well on the many trips to TX. Still sticking around, may buy a v10 to take up in the mountains during hunting season..lol
